Medical Device Simulation
These still images are taken from an interactive surgery simulator that we built for one of our clients to use to demonstrate how their products integrate into established treatments and procedures. Utilizing 3D animation and augmented reality elements, the simulation allows learners to drag and drop surgical instruments, tools, and devices from a virtual surgical tray to a virtual sterile area. Slick animated effects demonstrate how the device or tool can be used to complete the procedure.
The simulation was delivered as an iPad app, so our client’s sales team could easily bring the simulation into all of their sales situations. The images above illustrate different functionalities within the app, including the insertion of a spinal spacer. This project illustrates so many of the things we do well: virtual reality, simulation, 3D animation, and interactive learning.
