On June 27, Medical Media & Marketing (MM&M), the leading publication for the healthcare marketing industry, announced the finalists for its prestigious, annual industry awards. In the announcement, Infuse Media Group is named as one of five finalists in the category of “Best App for Healthcare Professionals.” Two of the finalists will now be chosen by a panel of independent judges as the gold and silver medal winners in the category.

This marks the sixth of Infuse’s projects to be named finalists in the “Best App for Healthcare Professionals” category in just the last three years, including sweeping the category and winning both the gold and silver medal in 2012. Finalists are chosen via an exhaustive selection process utilizing over 100 industry expert judges, and are meant to represent the industry’s best designed and executed marketing campaigns, collateral, and digital tools.
This year, Infuse is nominated for its “CATALYST Procedural Simulation Library” app, designed for Medtronic, the world’s largest medical technology company. Jordan Erickson, President at Infuse Media Group was unable to comment on the content of the app in deference to the client’s intellectual property, but he did say that “the CATALYST Library is a perfect example of our mission to infuse beautiful design with technological innovation to accelerate the transfer of knowledge.

“All the finalists for this and all the other MM&M awards deserve congratulations,” Erickson added. “We’re proud of the hard work of our creative team, but most of all, we’re proud to continue to build a reputation for providing great mobile apps to our broad base of loyal clients in the healthcare industry.”

The winners of the gold and silver MM&M awards will be announced at a ceremony on October 2 in New York City.
